Marty Lerner, PhD.
A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Lerner is a licensed and board certified clinical psychologist who has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders since 1980. He has appeared on numerous national television and radio programs that include The NPR Report, 20/20, Discovery Health, and ABC’s Nightline, as well as, authored several publications related to eating disorders in professional literature, national magazines, and newspapers including USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Miami Herald, Orlando and Hollywood Sun Sentinels. An active member of the professional community here in South Florida since finishing his training, Dr. Lerner makes his home in Ft. Lauderdale with his wife Michele and canine family members.
Nikki Glantz, RDN, COO
Nikki Glantz, RDN has served as the Milestones Eating Disorders Program dietitian for the past 19 years and has a diversified background in working with patients suffering with both eating disorders and related mental health issues. A graduate of The University of Florida’s Health Sciences Program, as well as, having an advanced degree from Florida International University with a specialty in Dietetics and Nutrition, Nikki provides an invaluable service to her clients and the patients at Milestones.
In addition to being the proud mother of three boys and married to her husband David since graduating college, Nikki is an active member of the South Florida community. She is highly regarded as the “go to” person among family, friends, and especially her colleagues at Milestones. She also maintains a part-time private practice at the Milestones Cooper City Campus and serves as a consultant to local chemical dependency programs in the area.
Kristina Beaudry, LMHC, NCC, MAC,QS
Kristina Beaudry is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor who has been working in the field of eating disorders and addictions for over 10 years. She earned her masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and completed her internship at Broward Health’s crisis stabilization unit.
Kristina is also a Nationally Certified Counselor and holds a certificate as a Masters Addiction Counselor. Kristina is passionate about learning new tools to better support clients healing and has completed training to be an EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist. She enjoys helping clients begin to heal old wounds and create a life they enjoy living. She is passionate about helping people find their voice, work through their shame and learn to treat themselves with compassion.
Ariel Hernandez, LMHC
Ariel is a veteran of the Army National Guard and joins our team with a business background after having completed her Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of Miami. With a graduate degree in Mental Health counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Ariel had worked as an intern at Milestones, prior to joining our staff as a primary therapist. Ariel has a background working in substance abuse and addiction at various South Florida facilities and has worked with both adults and adolescents living a life in recovery.
In her spare time Ariel enjoys spending time with her family and training in jiu-jitsu.
Sakinah Osborne, RMHCI, NCC
Sakinah is an Army veteran with a bachelor’s degree in business from Florida A & M University. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, she worked in the healthcare industry in various marketing roles. While pursuing her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University, she began as an intern here. She is one of our primary therapists.
She is an active member in diverse community organizations and has led various initiatives to serve indigent populations locally and abroad. When Sakinah is not at Milestones she enjoys traveling and reading.
Karli Gallo, RMHCI
Karli is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. She joined the Milestones program after completing her internship with us while attending Nova Southeastern University. Prior to her graduate degree, Karli pursued a Bachelor’s in Public Health at the University of South Florida and worked in the non-profit sector for children’s mental health and community health.
When not at Milestones, she enjoys reading, traveling and the outdoors, including rock climbing.
Nathaniel Keller, MD
Psychiatrist / Medical Director
Dr. Keller completed his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv and New York City and post-graduate training at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of the University of Pittsburg Medical Center. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Keller holds positions as a assistant professor of Psychiatry at the University of Miami School of Medicine and enjoys affiliations with several local hospitals as a psychiatric consultant. He has served as medical director and attending physician at Milestones for the past several years in addition to maintaining a private practice in the area.
Linda Dolin, MD
A graduate of Chicago Medical in 1986 and completing her residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago in 1989, Dr. Dolin serves as our internal medicine consultant and plays and active role with our program at Milestones. A resident of South Florida with her husband and children, Dr. Dolin has served as a primary care physician for several local hospitals and facilities in our area and has been part of the Milestones clinical team for the past several years.
Kathy MacAdams, RN
Kathy previously worked at Memorial Hospital in South Florida. She works directly with Dr. Dolin and Dr. Keller to ensure the medical needs are met for both the residential and outpatient participants. When not assisting our clients here at Milestones, Kathy enjoys traveling to interesting locales.
Sami has recently joined Milestones as the Operations Manager. Originally from New Jersey she moved to South Florida in 2013. Sami comes to us with 7 years of experience working primarily with mental health clients as a case manager. She is a photographer and enjoys traveling to find new places or interesting things to capture. Sami is devoted to her niece and nephews.
Samantha Sandor, MS, CBHCMS
Admissions Coordinator/Case Management
A native Floridian from Ft. Lauderdale, Sam serves as our Admissions Coordinator and Case Manager at Milestones. She has completed her Masters Degree in Psychology and is continuing her education. Aside from her academic ambitions, Sam is an avid Yoga enthusiast and enjoys several of the outdoor activities the South Florida area offers.
Jessica is one of the newest member to our Milestones Team.
Liza Margules, BA
Liza is the newest member to our Milestones Team. She recently graduated from Elon University with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy. She hopes to continue her studies in Clinical Psychology in the near future. Her hobbies include visiting with family and friends, the beach and playing her ukulele.
Colleen has worked for Milestones in various capacities for almost a decade. She is currently serving as a BHT/Resident Manager.
As an alumni of our program for many years, Colleen has a unique relationship with the clients since she has been in their seat and knows the experience of gaining recovery from an eating disorder first-hand. Staff and clients alike value her contribution to the program and often uses Colleen as a “go to” for help in various areas.
Greg is a new member of our staff. He recently joined as a full-time driver and facilities manager. Greg recently retired after 25 years as a drafter/designer in the consulting engineering industry. He has a great work ethic and focuses on getting the job done effectively and efficiently.
Prior to joining Milestones in 2012, Cathy served as an account manager for a large industrial distributor and manufacturer.
